Practical find outs and solution’s:
We discussed the three pillars of transportation in the introduction, and governments are the ultimate commanders of them. The government is taking the necessary steps, but there is still room for improvement. Following a thorough examination of the policies and issues with the transportation system. We devised some novel solutions to the problems we'll be discussing below. We hope that these solutions will make a difference.
Government is run for the people, by the people, and for the people. As a result, the government must conduct an opinion poll among the general public to determine their needs and expectations from the government. So, first and foremost, the government must collect suggestions or grievances from the public.
The government should also focus on creating a complaints / grievance / suggestions portal so that people who face racism, abuse, and harassment can come forward and register their complaint. Not only that, but if someone notices a problem or is planning to bring a solution to a problem, they can bring it to the government's attention and make change happen.
Here, we strongly envision and demand that the government implement a public transportation system, as well as that the government develop some policy guidelines for private transportation operators.
To begin, smoking in public transportation should be strictly prohibited because smoking causes cancer and passive smoking causes more effects than cancer, so it should be strictly prohibited.
The third thing we recommend is "insurance" for people who travel by bus as well as private trams, vans, or taxis.
Because who will be liable for their dependents if something terrible happens to the passengers, like a car accident, fire, or natural disaster in which they could perish. The most crucial issue that requires our attention is this. The insurance expiration dates and vehicle capacity must be frequently checked by the transport department officials.
Obviously, if the government runs transportation, it usually trains drivers to be safe drivers. Government should also take some responsibility, with the help of corporate CSR activities, to run "safety driving techniques workshops" for private vehicle drivers.
They can run refreshment programs, fuel conservation techniques, and awareness programs in addition to safety driving techniques.
As a result, properly trained drivers will operate vehicles safely, and happy drivers will drive well. As a result, road safety is guaranteed, and fuel is also conserved. Since drivers are also people and need to rehydrate.
Governments must also pay attention to the quality of the roads because accidents can be caused by poorly built, subpar roads, or highways with an improper banking angle.
For instance, imagine that Translink runs a bus at a set time from a rural to an urban region, and that 40 individuals consistently board. Additionally, if 25 people from different phases of life need to travel to the same urban region, there should be a button that says, "We are here to travel," allowing the transportation department to schedule a different bus in response to the needs of the less fortunate. It is necessary to implement this system.
It would be more cost-effective to integrate tour or excursion services, and the APP should allow for their booking.
It is impossible for elderly or ignorant individuals to use the app efficiently; thus we need to implement IVRS system so they can learn about the bus information that is accessible in their neighborhood.
While it would seem logical for everyone to have access to an effective mobile app developed by us, this is not the case in the current situation. People who are blind or have limited mobility should not use all of the apps on a regular basis; instead, a different plug-in should be used on the device they are using. So that these users can properly use the software.
Set-Aside.
Subsidies for ethnic groups or refugees should also be provided by the government or local municipal corporations. It helps their economy while also increasing their social involvement.
We generally visited some villages where we witnessed the trouble faced by disabled in many countries, disabled or mobility disabled people are provided with electric battery-operated tricycles and wheel chairs but here in Northern Ireland, we haven’t seen much wheel chairs, which is usually battery operated. Councils and Governments need to provide some subsidies for battery-operated vehicles for the disabled.
The government should also offer various exemptions (Tax exemptions/insurance policy surcharge exemptions/discount on registration costs, etc.) in addition to the vehicles that are specifically made for individuals with disabilities or differing abilities in order to encourage them to purchase vehicles.
Administrators should focus on promoting the use of human-powered vehicles and legalizing them.
Designing buses with the requirements of the public in mind.
