PRESENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN NORTHERN IRELAND:
Through its
subsidiary firms, Metro in Belfast and Ulster Bus throughout the nation,
Translink provides the majority of public transportation services in Northern
Ireland. There are numerous additional public transportation options provided
by private bus companies. These are primarily express services or regular
stops, which were originally referred to as "stage carriage."
To operate such bus routes, operators of public transportation services
must have a Road Service License from the Driver, and Vehicle Agency (DVA) as well as a separate approval from the DVA.
The former bus route licencing component of the Road Service License has been superseded by the new Commercial Bus Service Permit system, which is managed by the Department for Infrastructure (DFI). This component is now referred to as a "Bus Operator License."
The new Service Permit system is made to make it possible for those
operators to keep offering their current services. Additionally, it allows any
licensed operator the chance to submit an application for a new service in
cases where the operator sees a market gap and DFI is
confident that the service won't have a major negative impact on other existing
services.

What is transportation poverty:
Poverty is
"a circumstance where you are an individual and are not able to heat your
home or pay your rent," according to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. Due
to your financial situation." You may feel constrained in this scenario
from contributing fully to society (Joseph Rowntree Foundation, 2020).
According to an excerpt from the UN definition, poverty is defined as "A
lack of fundamental capacity to engage effectively in society" (Gordon,
2005). In fact, many fields of social science and beyond have used the idea of
poverty as the lack of a given demand. There are various sorts of poverty that
we may categorize, including energy poverty, education poverty, transportation
poverty, health poverty, etc. In this paper, we will discuss.
RURAL TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM IN NORTHERN IRELAND:
In rural communities, there are generally limited options and polarized travel patterns, but the most popular modes of transportation include: private cars, fixed route busses, private shuttle busses, demand-responsive transport (DRT) options; taxi services, trains to surrounding areas, ridesharing cycling, and walking.
PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRESENT TRANSPORT SYSTEM:
Translink operates busses, but those busses are
not accessed by all area people.
Presently there are many problems associated with the present transportation
system, though Concern here is that Northern Ireland and other countries has
privatized us services that is causing many problems like higher transportation
costs, and these people has axed the bus route services with low-income return.
So, the rural population is facing many issues.
These private operators may raise the price of the bus tickets without giving any notice to people and seeking any approvals from the government.

Apart from the economic considerations problems (Racism, Gender unevenness, Harassment, Abuse, Passive smoking effect) faced by the passenger’s who travel from rural areas.
We can also observe the non-implementation of covid-19 safety measures in dangerous transport systems. Unfortunately, there is no proper channel to register complaints.
In recent years, low wages for taxi drivers have become a major issue. Especially for the elderly or senior citizens. It also has an impact on taxi drivers' employability. Some of them have quit their jobs. As the cost-of-living crisis continues to wreak havoc on the people and the economy, the government should reconsider taxi driver pay.
People in rural areas are demanding that action be taken to address this issue and allow them to live happily ever after. The video below depicts the current situation.

The majority of the population in rural areas is most interested in the implementation of public transportation, and governments are also planning to implement public transportation.
In fact, some governments are attempting to remove barriers to public transportation; the source is listed below.

Apart from all of these issues, disabled people face major issues that affect their daily lives; the video below describes the pain of disabled parents.

This is similar to the known problems of registered communities, but there is a Gypsy community in the United Kingdom that is registered as an ethnic minority community.
The following article provides insight into the tragic lives of gypsy and traveler communities. "We're not done yet!" Extreme energy and transportation poverty, perpetual marginalization, and spatial justice among Northern Ireland's Gypsies and Travelers.

This is insane, equality is for everyone. According to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, "poverty in any form should be eliminated." But we are only thinking about equality and humanity here; we must act now.
RISK OF ACCIDENTS.
The majority of drivers who provide private transportation are in poor health. And they are not adhering to the posted speed limits. As a result, many accidents occur. They are unaware of emission issues because they are not participating in any new training activities.
We can even see a lack of firefighting equipment in private vehicles. As a result, many people are killed in car fires.
